Arc Electric takes health and safety issues very seriously. We
comply with the Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974; the
Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and all other Acts, Regulations
and Codes of Practice that affect our electrical contractor
operations.
Arc Electric continually strives to improve our safety performance.
We provide every employee with the health & safety training and
advice they need to carry out their tasks safely. We also ensure we
are completely up to date with all current legislation and
regulations.
Arc Electric are members of Constructionline, the Government's
national register for suppliers. We are also CHAS accredited. Being
CHAS accredited means our health & safety standards are accepted by
all CHAS buyers which includes many public and private sector
organisations. CHAS assesses our health & safety policy statement,
our organisation and ensures our health &
safety arrangements meet acceptable standards.
We are members of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme. CSCS
was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and
reduce accidents. CSCS cards are increasingly required as proof of
occupational competence.
We are also members of the SAFEcontractor accreditation scheme that
assesses the health & safety and competency of contractors. |
