Just recently, ARC Electric have kindly made a donation to a Willow Wood Hospice appeal; ‘The Colin Davies football tournament’.
Set in a tranquil and leafy location in Ashton-under-Lyne, Willow Wood is a purpose-built Hospice providing specialist Palliative Care to those suffering with life-threatening illnesses. It currently costs over £2.2 million per year to run the Hospice, but no charge is made for any of the services. They receive financial support from the local Health Authority, but rely heavily on voluntary donations and fundraising activities for the majority of the income.
This is where you come in!
For the seventh year running, twelve local football teams have again come together to take part in the 7 a-side tournament being held on Saturday 27th June at Astley Sports College and Community High School. The event will be taking place from 12pm until 3pm.
The Charity Shield as it currently stands.
Following on from the tournament, a charity auction and raffle will also be taking place. Any donations for these activities will be greatly appreciated.
